The Kitchen on North Flagler
“Cooking is only one of the functions a kitchen now serves,” says cabinetry designer Christopher Peacock. “They’re multifunctional rooms now, so they should be dressed up.” To that end, he wrapped the walls in a luminous metallic brushstroke wallpaper and used sleek bleached-wood cabinetry with slab-front drawers from his Montauk collection. A trio of basket weave-style pendant lights and woven barstools continue the organic, textural play. The dapper metal-and-wood cabinetry hardware, along with sleek Kohler faucets, are like just the right amount of jewelry on a sartorial masterpiece.
