Too complex to realize by traditional methods, Kohler leveraged new, internally developed capabilities with 3D-printed ceramics to construct the asymmetrical sink body.

The coordinating brass piece requires a similarly lengthy production process, each piece hand-cast and then sent through a lengthy chamber vapor patina process to arrive
at its intended coloring.

The final process involves a continuous 7.5 hours of print time, expertly tracing the designed pattern as the coil layers build upward into the sink’s unique form.

Rock.01 pairs perfectly with the Components® faucet in Matte Black.

The Stone Flow installation reflects Arsham’s goal of integrating the real and imagined.

Daniel Arsham is known for constructing indefinable moments between art, architecture, performance, and design. The New York-based, Miami-raised creator has collaborated with world-renowned artists, musicians, designers, and brands. Working in a multitude of disciplines, Arsham creates and crystallizes ambiguous in-between spaces and situations, referred to as “future relics of the present.”
