CACHET™ QUIET-CLOSE™ TOILET SEAT PROVIDES USER CONVENIENCE AND EASY CLEANING WITH EXCLUSIVE QUICK-RELEASE™ FUNCTIONALITY

Cachet Quiet-Close Toilet Seat
KOHLER, Wis. – Eliminating the concerns of "lid-slamming" and the associated unwelcome noise, Kohler Co., a global leader in kitchen and bath design, introduces the Cachet Quiet-Close toilet seat with Quick-Release functionality for a softer, quieter close as well as easier cleaning around toilet seat hinges.

Cachet Quiet-Close Toilet Seat with Quick-Release Functionality
The Cachet Quiet-Close toilet seat with Quick-Release functionality is engineered to close slowly with the slightest touch, reducing unwanted noise often associated with lid slamming. Additionally, hygiene is improved as the user only needs to make minimal contact with the seat or lid for it to begin to gently close.

"Kohler research indicates that consumers’ number-one concern when it comes to toilet cleanliness is where the toilet seat is hinged to the bowl because it is hard to reach and clean around," said Kathryn Streeby, marketing manager for KOHLER sanitary products. "The KOHLER Cachet Quiet-Close toilet seat features our exclusive Quick-Release functionality that enables consumers to swiftly remove the entire toilet seat without using tools for convenient cleaning."

By removing the toilet seat, the user can fully clean around the seat hinges and, in the case of 2-piece toilets, around the area where the tank meets the bowl. Both locations are places where dirt can accumulate and which are not readily accessible with a standard bolt toilet seat.

Kohler Quick-Release
The Cachet Quiet-Close toilet seat features transitional design lines and is available in 17 KOHLER colors to coordinate with numerous KOHLER toilets and fixtures. The seat is ergonomically contoured for maximum user comfort and fits 1- and 2-piece toilets. Furthermore the Cachet Quiet-Close toilet seat is crafted of solid polypropylene that resists staining, scratching, chipping and fading.

Founded in 1873 and headquartered in Kohler, Wis., Kohler Co. is a world leader in products for the kitchen and bath, and one of the oldest and largest privately held companies in the United States.
